Measuring Your Pupillary Distance (PD)
What is PD?
Pupillary Distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's crucial for aligning the optical center of your lenses with your eyes.
Method 1: Using a Ruler
- Stand about 20cm from a mirror
- Hold a ruler against your brow
- Close your right eye and align 0mm with the center of your left pupil
- Open your right eye and close your left eye
- Read the measurement at the center of your right pupil
